Sales Manager SYST Middle East

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our SYST Division focusing on reciprocating compressors across the Middle East Region (Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, etc.).

Office Location: UAE or Saudi Arabia

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (client visits across the ME Region)

Your tasks will be the following:
  • Drive Order Intake across the Middle East for all segments and applications including Hydrogen Mobility & Energy Industrial Gas Petrochemical Refinery and Gas Gathering & Transport.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities early in the project lifecycle particularly with end‑users prior to EPC award.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global business objectives.
  • Conduct market price analysis and coordinate tender pricing activities.
  • Prepare and manage budgetary and firm tenders (technical and commercial) ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial and technical clarification meetings with customers and negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in CRM and provide regular forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and customer engagements to promote brand visibility and business development.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and ISO 9001 quality standards.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of total experience in technical/commercial sales with at least 5 years in the Middle East.
  • Proven experience in selling reciprocating compressors or similar rotating equipment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas, Energy and Hydrogen sectors.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • High level of customer orientation, strategic thinking and results‑driven mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Familiarity with international business practices and regulatory frameworks.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
