Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Lifeguard/Swimming Coach to oversee aquatic activities ensure the safety of swimmers and provide professional swimming instruction. The ideal candidate will have strong water safety skills teaching abilities and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all participants.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Provide first aid and CPR in case of emergencies.
• Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of different skill levels.
• Develop and implement training programs tailored to swimmers needs.
• Assess swimmers progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the pool and related equipment.
• Stay updated on safety protocols and best practices in aquatic instruction.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management.
• Create a positive and encouraging environment for swimmers.

Requirements

• Certified Lifeguard and/or Swimming Instructor
• CPR First Aid and AED certification.
• Strong swimming ability and knowledge of various strokes and techniques.

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
