Job description

GK International is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer (SP3D) for a 6‑month contract in Dubai with potential for extension. This role focuses on offshore engineering design for various support systems offering exposure to international projects and collaboration with experienced teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 3D modeling in SP3D for ceiling wall and floor support systems
• Perform 2D detailing for structural layouts including UNISTRUT systems and cable tray supports
• Integrate TEKLA/IFS models into SP3D-compatible formats for project execution
• Review engineering specs, resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance with design requirements
• Prepare documentation and deliverables, participate in technical meetings and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• 58 years of SP3D modeling experience particularly in offshore or LER support systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD SP3D and 2D layout tools; familiarity with TEKLA Navisworks or PDS is a bonus
• Knowledge of offshore module design standards and UNISTRUT support structures
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
