A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Strategy Leader within Grid Technologies and a key member of the Strategy & Sustainability team, you will shape the direction of one of the world’s most critical energy businesses. You will drive high-impact strategic projects across our global GT portfolio, working closely with business leaders and operational units to translate business needs into actionable initiatives.

Your day is a mix of solving complex problems, working with cross-functional teams, engaging senior stakeholders, and challenging how we operate today to build what the grid needs tomorrow. You will bring analytical rigor, energy-sector insight, and strategic creativity to define solutions and push our business forward.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Lead high-value strategic initiatives that directly shape the future of Siemens Energy and the global Energy Transition. Identify growth opportunities, portfolio moves, and business-critical themes, translating them into executable plans with business leaders.
  • Drive preparation for Executive Board decisions through management reviews, strategy updates, and external presentations. Support special strategic initiatives and one-off projects requiring fast problem solving and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and lead workstreams within complex projects, building a strong internal network across Grid Technologies and the wider Siemens Energy organization.
  • Analyze complex problems and develop creative, actionable solutions together with highly skilled colleagues.
  • Leverage deep energy industry knowledge to challenge the status quo and spark new ideas, business models, and innovations.
  • Develop continuously through on-the-job learning, coaching from senior colleagues, and dedicated trainings and job-shadowing programs.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in Strategy, with a strong track record in strategic initiatives, market analysis, and end-to-end project management. At least 2 years of experience in the Energy sector, ideally within Grid Technologies or adjacent segments, with strong understanding of industry dynamics and current trends.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational layers, mobilizing resources and driving alignment in complex environments. Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and build compelling, data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, proven in diverse and senior stakeholder settings.
  • High performance orientation—you consistently meet or exceed objectives and thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Solution-driven mindset with a willingness to “go the extra mile” and deliver results with ownership and autonomy.
  • A collaborative team spirit, enjoying the opportunity to work with highly motivated colleagues and possessing strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
