Job summary

A leading multi-media platform in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their Finance team. The ideal candidate will handle specialized accounting functions including General Ledger Management, Accounts Receivable, and Cost Accounting. Key requirements include a BA/BS in Accounting, strong knowledge of GAAP, familiarity with UAE financial regulations, and proficiency in using ERP systems like Oracle. Qualifications

• BA/BS in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, cost accounting.
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations including payroll tax laws and VAT.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Hands-on use of ERP system (Oracle) is a must.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries and reconciles all G/L accounts.
• Identifies financial errors and risks.
• Prepares reports and alerts management to variances.
• Assists in preparation for annual audits.
• Coordinates the Fixed Asset process.
• Manages accounts receivable and liabilities.
