Job description
ROLE SUMMARY

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day operational supply chain and logistics of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. The role will be responsible for a seamless supply chain and logistics operations that meet the business objectives while being time and cost efficient.

ROLE PROFILE
  • Execute end-to-end supply chain activities for assigned merchandise, ensuring compliance with Majid Al Futtaim policies and all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Requests for Quotation in line with the End-to-End process and approved service level agreements.
  • Ensure timely deliveries of shipments and monitor daily replenishment to stores, launch deliveries, returns, and merchandise and non-merchandise orders in line with visual merchandising and marketing requirements.
  • Provide regular shipment updates to stakeholders and manage incidents or discrepancies with partners.
  • Prepare logistics performance reports and validate service provider invoices to ensure alignment with agreed commercial terms.
  • Maintain and monitor the logistics budget tracker, comparing budget versus actual costs, and coordinate billing submissions with Finance Shared Service Center and the Finance team.
  • Support sustainability initiatives aligned with the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow strategy.
  • Deliver strong stakeholder service, coordinate effectively with Third Party Logistics providers, and monitor supplier performance against agreed key performance indicators and service level agreements.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Upto 2 years of experience in supply chain or logistics operations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience managing high-volume transactions is preferred.
  • Exposure to multi-site retail operations will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
