Sourcing Manager – Commodities (Indian Market)

We are an commodities trading company looking to strengthen our presence in the Indian market. We are currently seeking a Trader / Sourcing Manager to develop sourcing and trading activities in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and develop relationships with producers, suppliers, and exporters in India
• Identify trading opportunities across various commodities (agricultural products, biofuels, feedstocks, industrial raw materials, etc.)
• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers and counterparties
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply/demand dynamics
• Coordinate with internal trading, logistics, and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with trade, regulatory, and contractual requirements

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Indian languages (Hindi required; additional regional languages are a strong plus)
• Strong knowledge of raw materials / commodities markets
• Proven experience in trading, sourcing, or procurement (commodities preferred)
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset
• Ability to work independently and build a sourcing network from scratch
• Willingness to travel within India as required
