Job summary

A leading solar energy firm in Dubai is looking for a Solar PV O&M Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–6 years of experience in solar PV O&M, focusing on ensuring performance optimization and compliance with safety regulations. Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in solar PV O&M, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proven experience with C&I-scale PV systems (1MW to 5MW).
• Hands-on experience with leading inverter brands (e.g., Huawei, SMA, Sungrow, Fronius, SolarEdge).

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance activities for PV installations.
• Monitor plant performance using SCADA and identify underperformance or faults.
• Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and rectification of inverters and protection systems.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance works with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and internal project teams for O&M activities.
