Job description
Job Purpose

The Soft FM Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that client requirements for facilities management services are met or exceeded in terms of quality, technical performance, health and safety compliance, and budget control. The role oversees service delivery, manages client relationships, supervises in-house teams and third-party contractors, and ensures optimal operational performance across assigned properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of soft facilities management services, including landscaping, water treatment, pest control, and technical installations.

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication, issue resolution, and service quality monitoring.

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of third-party contractors and suppliers in coordination with the Third-Party Services Department.

  • Respond promptly and effectively to urgent client issues and service requests, applying appropriate technical and operational solutions.

  • Prepare and submit accurate reports on property issues, service performance, and corrective actions to clients and Operations Management.

  • Ensure properties are maintained in compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.

  • Manage and supervise in-house technical teams, including HVAC, electrical, and hydraulic systems personnel.

  • Control and manage property budgets to ensure operations remain within approved financial limits.

  • Prioritize technical and service-related issues based on criticality and client impact.

  • Clearly explain planned technical works, maintenance activities, and expected outcomes to clients or client representatives.

  • Approve procurement requests and ensure availability of required spare parts and materials.

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for assigned properties.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or equivalent certification is preferred.

  • Valid UAE Driver’s License.

Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with a strong focus on client management, service delivery, and budget control.

Technical Knowledge
  • Building systems and technical installations (HVAC, electrical, hydraulic systems).

  • Facilities management performance evaluation methodologies.

  • Property and facilities budget management.

  • Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and compliance.
