A leading engineering company is seeking an experienced Site Lead Quality Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee quality assurance and control activities in Abu Dhabi. Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Lead Quality Engineer (Mechanical) as part of our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at Habshan Site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Site Lead Quality Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for leading and implementing all mechanical quality assurance and quality control activities at site for EPCM projects. The role ensures that mechanical construction, installation, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and client quality requirements. The position acts as the main quality focal point between the EPCM contractor, client, vendors, and construction teams.
