A leading consulting firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Site Compliance Consultant to represent landowner interests on a major infrastructure project. The role involves monitoring compliance with land-use regulations and safety practices, coordinating with stakeholders, and reporting safety incidents. Candidates should have at least 7 years of construction experience and a relevant qualification. This position focuses solely on compliance and escalation, adhering to Abu Dhabi’s standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of construction experience, including site management or surveying.
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s NOC processes and land-use compliance.
  • Understanding of utilities and infrastructure interfaces (roads, power, water, drainage) must be demonstrable.
  • Knowledge of ADOSH-SF health and safety standards.

Overview

Talan are seeking a seasoned Site Compliance Consultant to represent the interests of a landowner overseeing a large multi-stakeholder infrastructure development site in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on monitoring land-use compliance, safety practices, and coordination across various utility and data infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor stakeholder activities to ensure adherence to approved land boundaries and conditions for all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) performance issues
  • Identify and escalate unauthorised or unsafe works occurring outside permitted zones.
  • Act as the on-site liaison for compliance matters with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Participate in bi-weekly coordination meetings and maintain a register of land allocations, permits, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs)
  • Report health and safety incidents in line with local regulatory guidelines.
  • Support coordination on shared utilities, access roads, and technical interfaces.
Deliverables
  • Weekly compliance reports and updated boundary registers.
  • Immediate reporting of flagged health and safety issues.
Candidate Profile

Additional Information
  • The Consultant will report to the Construction Director.
  • The role is strictly monitoring and escalation-focused; statutory HSSE responsibilities remain with individual stakeholders.
