Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat childhood illnesses from minor health problems to serious diseases
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine medical conditions
  • Develop and manage comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects
  • Educate patients and families about medical conditions treatment options and preventive health measures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including nurses specialists and therapists to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
  • Provide emergency medical care when necessary and refer patients to other specialists as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and reports
