Job summary

A premier consulting firm is seeking an experienced QC Inspector – Welding for an onshore oil and gas construction project in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities include performing welding inspections and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, relevant engineering qualifications, and specific certifications such as CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI. Strong knowledge of welding inspection techniques and international welding codes is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of total experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Certification CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or equivalent is mandatory.
• Experience in pipeline and flowline welding for onshore oil and gas projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding inspection and surveillance activities.
• Verify compliance of welding activities with project specifications.
• Document and report non-conformances in welding activities.
