Job description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team in ensuring quality assurance and control measures are in place.

Responsibilities
  • Inspecting sites before construction activities commence
  • Reviewing contractors' quality and testing submissions for contract compliance
  • Attending Contractors' QA/QC meetings
  • Assisting in reviews of the Quality Management System
  • Conducting training sessions
  • Reporting on quality performance at construction meetings
  • Coordinating with Clients' QA/QC representatives for feedback
  • Addressing and closing all complaints
  • Issuing regular guidance and information to engineering staff
  • Monitoring close-out of all non-conformances in coordination with engineering staff
  • Producing a QA audit schedule and undertaking audits (of contractor, suppliers, subcontractors if applicable)
  • Verifying that all works are conducted in accordance with approved procedures
  • Ensuring all quality records are kept up to date and filed properly
  • Reviewing Contractors' monthly QA/QC Reports
  • Reviewing Contractors' submittals from QA perspective
  • Ensuring contractors carry out all tests as per specification requirement
  • Other duties relevant to the role
Qualifications
  • A degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience in quality assurance and control
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
