Job summary

A leading project management consultancy in Dubai is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee a commercial project. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of MEP installations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and upholding quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience on large-scale projects and a relevant engineering degree. This role offers flexibility, including part-time and hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience on large-scale mixed-use and infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience working in a project management consultancy.
• Strong background in construction delivery of MEP systems on complex developments.

The project

An exciting opportunity to be a part of our project management consultancy team to deliver a commercial project with infrastructure and landscape packages.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Represent the client and safeguard project objectives during the construction phase
• Oversee contractor delivery of all MEP installation works in line with IFC drawings and specifications
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs
• Resolve RFIs and manage interdisciplinary coordination issues on site
• Enforce MEP quality, HSE, and sustainability requirements
• Monitor installation progress, risks, and mitigation measures
• Lead testing, commissioning, IST, and FM handover activities
• Support contract administration, variations, and technical EOT assessments
• Coordinate authority inspections, approvals, and certification processes

You’ll need to have:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Record of project delivery
• 15+ years of relevant experience on large‑scale mixed-use and infrastructure projects
• Previous experience working in a PMC
• Strong background in construction delivery of MEP systems on complex developments
• Previous UAE experience
