A leading entertainment company in the UAE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of world-class attractions. This role involves managing project lifecycles, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a degree in engineering, project management certification, and over 5 years of experience in project management within theme parks or waterparks. Strong leadership skills and financial acumen are essential to drive success in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management/operations in a Theme Park or Waterpark.
• 2–3 years in contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from concept to completion.
• Develop project scopes, plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure operational readiness across all phases.
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Conduct risk management to reduce project risks.
• Monitor contractor compliance with procedures and labor standards.
• Track project performance using tools and KPIs.

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of new initiatives, ensuring every project is executed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage vendors, oversee operational readiness, and ensure excellence in project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Planning

• Lead full project lifecycle from concept to completion.
• Develop project scopes, plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure operational readiness across all phases.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors for seamless execution.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment.

Risk, Compliance & Quality

• Conduct risk management to reduce project risks.
• Monitor contractor compliance with procedures and labor standards.
• Ensure highest Health, Safety & Environmental standards.

Performance & Reporting

• Track project performance using tools and KPIs.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain full project documentation.
• Escalate key issues to management when necessary.

Operational Excellence

• Implement efficiency controls to improve cost and operations.
• Support strategy development related to new projects.
• Improve and standardize operational readiness methodologies.

Qualifications

Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering
• Project Management Certification (PMP or similar) or Six Sigma Green Belt
• 5+ years in project management/operations in a Theme Park or Waterpark
• 2–3 years in contract management

Desirable

• Experience leading teams within theme parks, hospitality, or attractions
• Postgraduate training or certifications
