Overview

Product Lead UAE / GCC

Location : UAE

Our client is a global FinTech powerhouse, publicly traded on the FTSE250, with over 340,000 active clients across 18 countries. Seeking a Product Lead to drive our product strategy and execution in the UAE and GCC markets. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, customer empathy, and a passion for building market-leading products. The ideal candidate will be running our mobile, web and desktop platforms that help our clients trade stocks & shares, leveraged products, Futures & Options and Crypto.

Responsibilities
  • Market & Customer Insights
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify strategic opportunities.
    • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and pain points.
    • Stay ahead of industry developments, especially those relevant to client's product portfolio.
  • Product Strategy & Ownership
    • Own the product vision and outcomes for the UAE / GCC market.
    • Align product initiatives with local business goals and IGs global strategy.
    • Identify gaps and opportunities in the market to prioritize development.
    • Craft clear problem statements and compelling value propositions.
  • Product Development
    • Break down complex challenges into actionable tasks and define MVPs.
    • Collaborate with UI / UX teams to validate ideas through research and testing.
    • Work closely with engineering to deliver iterative, high-impact solutions.
  • Partnerships & Go-to-Market
    • Partner with marketing to define product positioning and launch strategies.
    • Explore third-party collaborations and acquisition opportunities to enhance capabilities.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Use data, consumer insights, and UX research to inform product decisions.
    • Maintain product velocity while avoiding analysis paralysis.
    • Define and track success metrics to measure impact and guide iteration.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Work alongside country leadership to align product priorities with business objectives.
    • Foster a culture of curiosity, ambition, and customer obsession.
    • Provide dotted-line reporting to local leadership for transparency and alignment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager or Product Lead in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end product development and lifecycle management.
  • Experience launching new products; fintech or trading experience is a strong plus.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration across tech, design, marketing, and compliance.
  • Proficient in data analysis and translating insights into product strategy.
  • Ideally coming from a software engineering background
  • Excellent communicator with a clear, compelling product vision.
  • Commercially savvy and deeply empathetic to customer needs.
  • Bold, curious, and willing to challenge the status quo.
