The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a planning or project control leadership role. Job description

Position: Senior Planning Manager or Planning Director

Location: Dubai

Job Duties
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, master programs, and resource‑loaded plans for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Project Controls: Implement and oversee progress monitoring, delay analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), and forecasting.
  • Risk & Resource Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and optimize allocation of labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present plans, reports, and recommendations to senior management, clients, and contractors, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of planning engineers, fostering high‑quality delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed weekly/monthly reports, dashboards, and status updates for senior leadership.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, local regulations, and contractual requirements, including managing variations and claims.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a planning or project control leadership role. Contracting Companies experience is a must
  • Strong background in Primavera P6, MS Project, and planning software.
  • Familiarity with cost planning, contracts (FIDIC), and project governance is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in high‑rise projects (50+ floors) is essential
