Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Planning Engineer with 7-10 years of project planning and scheduling experience. The role involves developing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, preparing various progress reports, and estimating project man-hours. A Project Management Professional (MP) or Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification is preferred. This position is based in Abu Dhabi and offers a 24-month contract, with an immediate start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project planning & scheduling, specifically in the sector.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in EPC project planning and cost estimation.
• Understanding of project control processes and earned value management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules based on tender documents.
• Prepare and update project management reports and dashboards.
• Estimate project man-hours and define work breakdown structures.
