Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Lead and supervise daily fund operations including trade capture, settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations, and fee payments.
• Fund Accounting & Valuations: Oversee NAV calculations, management and performance fee processes, and ensure timely and accurate fund valuations.
• Risk & Margin Monitoring: Monitor fund margins and exposures, escalating issues proactively to senior management.
• Compliance Coordination: Partner with Compliance to prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., short selling, transaction reporting).
• Service Provider Management: Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, and prime brokers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operational workflows.
• Investor Operations: Coordinate fund flows including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches, ensuring seamless investor experience.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to operational processes, systems, and controls to support scalability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in hedge funds, asset management, fund administration, or auditing.
• Strong knowledge of fund operations, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with portfolio management systems (e.g., Eze Eclipse) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
• Open to relocation; role will be based in Dubai.
