Overview

The Senior Facility Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the organization’s facilities. This includes ensuring that buildings, infrastructure, and equipment are safe, functional, and compliant with health and safety regulations. The role involves supervising facility staff, managing service contracts, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments to support operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of facility staff and external contractors.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee space planning, office moves, and renovations.
  • Manage facility budgets, procurement, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure facility needs are met.
Qualifications
