Overview

Champion Safety and Operational Excellence

We seek a certified Senior Nuclear Engineer to provide expert analysis and support for reactor operations, fuel management, and safety compliance. This role is central to our mission of ensuring the safe and efficient production of nuclear energy.

Responsibilities
  • Perform core physics and thermal-hydraulic analyses to support reactor operation and fuel cycle planning.
  • Develop and maintain computational models for reactor core simulation and safety analysis using industry-standard codes.
  • Prepare and validate safety analysis reports (SARs) and technical documentation to support licensing and regulatory submissions.
  • Conduct operational support activities, including surveillance testing analysis and response to plant transients.
  • Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of plant modifications and their impact on safety limits.
  • Stay current with evolving nuclear regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. Masters or PhD is a significant asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in core neutronics, safety analysis, or reactor operations within a nuclear utility, vendor, or consulting environment.
  • Direct experience with nuclear analysis codes (e.g., SCALE, PARCS, RELAP, MCNP).
  • Strong understanding of nuclear reactor theory, thermal-hydraulics, and radiological analysis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear security clearance.
