Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to manage mechanical engineering design reviews for a Waste to Energy project in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, including at least 3 years in a PMC or consulting environment, and will ensure compliance with international standards. This role does not offer remote work, and the employment type is contract.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a PMC or consulting environment.
• ISO 9001 welding or painting inspector certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical design documents and QA/QC submissions.
• Provide technical oversight under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
• Ensure engineering compliance with international codes and project standards.
