Job summary

A leading multi-sector family business in the Middle East is seeking a Machine Operator to optimize machine operations and ensure efficiency while adhering to safety practices. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in a factory environment, with a preference for packaging. Candidates must possess a basic education and a willingness to learn machine operations. You'll collaborate with the production team and maintain hygienic practices in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn machine operation and support production team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Job description

Take the daily demand from the Production Supervisors and plan machine operations

Operate the machine with maximum efficiency and minimal waste

Come up with new strategies for machine maintenance, tooling

Execute machine tooling, machine maintenance and record the same

Attend Daily Operations Meetings and present relevant data (efficiency, breakdown, maintenance) on daily basis

Check RM quality and FG quality in in/off operations

Keep the machine and surrounding area clean and hygienic

Monitor machine operations and inform the operator or supervisor in case of any issues

Ensure safety and hygienic practices in regards to fellow team members, self and machines

Liaison with machine suppliers to check standard parts availability, spare parts listing

Check the spare parts inventory for appointed machine and inform Maintenance Engineer to order in case of short stocks

Implement GMP and lean manufacturing techniques in machine operations

Educational Qualification

• Basic Education

Work Experience

• 2+ year experience in a factory or production environment, packaging industry preferred

Willingness to learn machine operation and support production team

Ability to follow instructions and work safely

Basic understanding of English (readingandwriting)
