Job summary

A leading bank in the UAE is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to define and govern the enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture to ensure scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency. The role involves leading the design of cloud solutions, collaborating with various teams for architectural alignment, and supporting disaster recovery initiatives. Candidates should possess extensive experience in infrastructure and cloud architecture, with a strong focus on security and compliance, and a minimum of 15 years in banking technology. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of compute, storage, networking, virtualization and data center design.
• Experience with public, private and hybrid cloud models (Azure, AWS, OCI).
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to align infrastructure with application, data and business architecture domains.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, operations and security teams.
• 15 years of banking technology experience is desirable.
