A leading engineering firm in Sharjah is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage all mechanical site works for assigned projects. Responsibilities

• Responsible for all the Mechanical related site works for the assigned project.
• Knowledge in technical specifications and interpretation of drawings.
• Study/aware of the IFC drawings and conditions of contract.
• Design review, preparation of design calculation and shop drawings.
• Coordination with the Consultant/Client and Contractors for project timelines.
• Attend technical and progress meetings at the project site.
• Issue material requests and ensure timely delivery for installations.
• Submit and follow up shop drawing submittal/approval.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for all the Mechanical related site works for the assigned project, includes but not limited to quantity take off, variation submission, site supervision, material arrangement, coordination with main contractor/ consultant.

Knowledge in technical specifications and interpretation of drawings.

Study/aware of the IFC drawings, conditions of contract, project definitivamente, tender document.

拉商 design review, preparation of design calculation and shop drawings.

Coordination with the Consultant/Client/ Civil Contractors/Subcontractors/ other services for the timely symmetry of mechanical works.

Attending technical, coordination and progress meeting at project site to achieve the target set by the Client / Consultant for the completion of project.

Take off actual quantities & submit to HO for timely orders.

Responsible for issuing material request, follow up Letter of Orders in coordination with HO and delivery; ensure that the materials are available at site well in advance for site installation.

Submit/Follow up shop drawing submittal/approval and make sure that the shop drawings/Materials are being approved prior to site installation.
