The Role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering systems across complex building and infrastructure projects in the Middle East. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands‑on design capability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, BIM‑enabled environment to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and review electrical designs from concept to construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Support project delivery through technical reviews and site coordination.
• Utilize digital tools, automation, and BIM workflows to improve design efficiency.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (BEng / BSc Hons) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design and delivery.
• Mandatory experience working on projects within the Middle East.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality electrical designs across complex projects.

Key Knowledge and Skills

• Strong technical expertise in electrical building services design.
• Proficiency in LV power system modelling (Amtech or similar).
• Experience with lighting design tools (Dialux, Relux).
• Knowledge of lightning protection systems (StrikeRisk or equivalent).
• Experience in generator sizing and BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
