Job summary

A leading real estate services firm in Dubai is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to oversee project costs in construction and real estate development. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in cost management, including consultancy/PMC work, with strong skills in cost estimation software and MS Office. RICS membership and experience with high-value projects (approximately AED 1 billion) are required. You'll support cost and commercial leadership and manage client relations to ensure successful delivery of projects.

JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing project costs throughout the entire lifecycle of construction and real estate development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to cost and commercial leadership in the delivery of pre and post-contract services.
• Manage projects standalone dealing with clients and taking ownership for delivery.
• Lead bids with new and existing clients.
• Manage team resources ensuring coverage for projects and profitability.
• Use CostX Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes to an advanced level
• Work pre contract including; reviewing detailed measurements sections of BOQs handle tender query responses manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage.
• Work post contract including; being strong in contract administration comfortable on site walks with project teams prepare cash flow reports draft monthly payment recommendations and weekly commercial dashboards managing variations and assist in closing out projects and claims / variations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost management for construction projects.
• Consultancy / PMC experience for the last 5 years.
• Masterplan Villa development experience
• High value project experience (circa AED 1 billion)
• RICS membership with a minimum of 10 years
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
