Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Accountant in Abu Dhabi to manage end-to-end accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. The role includes preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting management with financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in accounting, strong knowledge of cost accounting, and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Knowledge of VAT, taxation, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Ensure accurate cost accounting, including product costing and variance analysis.
• Support pricing decisions through detailed cost and margin analysis.
• Prepare and file VAT, tax returns, and statutory reports on time.
