Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced structural engineer to lead projects focused on bridge rehabilitation and new design from concept to construction. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in steel and concrete bridge structures and hold a Professional Engineer license. Responsibilities include project management, technical oversight, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. This position is full-time, based in Dubai, with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive design experience for municipal/clients projects involving steel and concrete bridge structures.
• Must be able to lead detailed design and contract preparation.
• Acknowledged as a Bridge Expert with a deep network in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead in producing engineering products for bridge rehabilitation and new design projects.
• Complete detailed structural design calculations and analysis.
• Perform project management duties including controlling budgets and schedules.

Structural analysis software (Midas, CSiBridge)

Project management

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of Highway Bridge Design Codes

Bridge design experience

Education

Bachelor or Master degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
