Job summary

A global engineering consultancy in Dubai is seeking a Senior Aquatic Consultant to oversee engineering delivery of aquatic design packages. Join us to apply for the Senior Aquatic Consultant role at WSP in the Middle East.

This position involves technical planning, coordination, and engineering delivery of aquatic design packages, including swimming pools, water features, thermal experiences, and spa systems across luxury hospitality, public realm, and branded residential developments.

Reporting to the Head of Aquatic Design, you will collaborate with design leads, architects, and BIM technicians to translate project visions into technical outputs, participate in design reviews, and support project coordination and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed technical documentation for aquatic projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards.
  • Preparing engineering specifications, schedules, and technical reports focusing on filtration, hydraulics, and MEP integration.
  • Supporting BIM model reviews and QA/QC processes.
  • Leading the development of technical inputs for manuals and tender documents.

Candidate requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in aquatic, wellness, or spa design.
  • Experience managing projects from concept to IFC stage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and technical documentation skills.
