Job summary

An online flowers and gifting company is seeking a Senior Accountant in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage accounts payable operations, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations and internal controls. Responsibilities include processing invoices, managing payments, overseeing reconciliations, and supporting month-end activities. Candidates should have a degree in accounting or finance and 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to UAE tax legislation. Qualifications

• 4–7 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to accounts payable.
• UAE experience preferred with VAT compliance knowledge.
• Effective communicator with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full AP cycle including invoice receipt and processing.
• Prepare and manage weekly and monthly payment runs.
• Support month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations.
• Track AP KPIs and identify process improvements.
