Overview
Position: Assistant Manager, Institute Academic Programs. This NYU Abu Dhabi role reports to the Affiliate Director, Academic Programs and supports the Institute's operations, academic programs, and related administrative management.
Responsibilities
  - Handle scheduling of meeting programs (20-25 per academic year).
   - Meet with POs to evaluate and advise on program organizing and logistics.
   - Connect Institute policies and procedures.
   - Systematize all program information (logistics, planning) and distribute details to key stakeholders.
   - Provide assistance (data analysis) to the Associate Supervisor of Institute Programs in developing academic programs and preparing reports.
   - Review, edit, and update all documents related to conference/workshop guidelines.
   - On-site program monitoring (registration, communication, travel solutions).
   - Address and resolve issues that arise during programs, promptly and independently.
   - Coordinate with NYUAD Public Safety on campus access and security; coordinate with External Affairs for public programs.
   - Manage the NYUAD Institute Archive (digital and physical).
   - Promote Institute programs to the NYUAD community.
   - Collect data for post-event debriefing files.
   - Help establish links between NYUAD and external scholars and specialists.
   - Refine the settlement process for Academic Programs.
   - Oversee travel booking for Academic Programs; manage the process between agents and POs; track special requests and budget authorizations for travel; provide training to travel representatives when required.
   - Analyze and apply Conference/Workshop Guidelines.
   - Oversee the admin assistant in archiving all Institute papers (payments, contracts, press releases).
   - Process the open seminar and workshop programs (DCT process).
   - Process and follow up on all post-workshop/conference evaluation records and External Affairs information.
   - Monitor academic program information and assemble necessary statistics for APR.

  - Education: Bachelor's degree required.
   - Experience: Event management.
   - Experience: Budget administration.
