Section Head, Cash Management. UAE National

Our client is one of the most recognisable names in the Financial Services industry and is in an enviable position to be able to recruit high‑calibre professionals across the business.

Sitting within the Global Market Operations department, we are seeking a Section Head to manage a team to ensure that all operational workflows and all transactions occur timely and smoothly with no errors. This will involve leading a centralized function that manages all cash management aspects and ensures all Nostros and Vostros accounts are funded within management approved limits.

Accountabilities:

• To develop, manage and guide GMO’s Cash Management team to perform their daily tasks and set plans/training to develop their skills and ensure bank competencies are implemented.
• To ensure there are no operational errors or major complaints or issues for clients or counterparties.
• Monitor customer account cash movements.
• Ensure to check daily reconciliation summary report for unadvised credits.
• Obtain UAE Central Bank cash movements from all channels and submit the consolidated positions to the dealers.
• Produce and check daily, weekly and monthly management information reporting in relations to the Cash Management activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting & Treasury products.
• Minimum of 5 years banking experience within a related division.
• Experience with statistical reporting and analysis (MS Office).
• Murex knowledge is desirable.
