Job Description

Info Arab Media (Al Mashhad) is seeking a scheduler to join our shared services team. The scheduler is responsible for preparing daily logs for the channel on time and with 100% accuracy in accordance with the channel guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mass communication & media.
• At least 2 years’ experience.
• Preferably knowledge in BCM/BTS or Whatson.
• Attention to detail and fully focused.
• Organized and having a pleasant character.
• Good judgement.
• Experience in understanding and developing programming strategies in reference to TV targeted audience behaviours, characteristics & trends, and competition endurance.
• Preferably speaking both Arabic and English.
• Advanced IT skills.

Key Accountabilities

The scheduler will perform the following tasks:

• Preparing schedules for the assigned channels on time and with 100% accuracy.
• Preparing the weekly logs.
• Be fully observant for any timecodes error in the program.
• Following up the programs ingested in coordination with the P&S supervisor.
• Informing all relevant parties about the changes in the planned schedule.
• Ensuring commercials and sponsorships are booked into the right program.
• Ensuring all promotions and continuity elements are rightly placed in the schedule.
• Ensuring promotions and continuity are delivered on time and checking on the validity of the promo.
• Ensuring all program files are available and the right aspect ratio/versions are used by transmission as per the schedule.
• Following up with the MCR/TCR people on a daily basis.
• Ensuring programs are ready 24 hours before transmission day.
• Ensuring all program files are segmented and ready for transmission.
• Performing other tasks or duties when required.
