Overview
Black & Grey HR is hiring Sales & Marketing Manager for a leading packaging company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will plan, lead, and drive continuous sales growth within the B2B industry for HDPE blow-moulded plastic containers. This role is responsible for managing key client accounts, securing customized production orders, and expanding market share among both existing and new industrial clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand dynamics, competitive threats, and value chain propositions to position product offerings effectively.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new client leads through targeted prospecting, industry networking, trade associations, presentations, and key industry events.
- Achieve or exceed set sales targets for rigid packaging (HDPE) within the specified regional market.
- Cultivate and manage strong, long-term relationships with existing blenders, packers, and distributors.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead to close, including handling client inquiries, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement an ambitious Annual Business Plan with clear strategies to maximize market potential for the HDPE packaging segment.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate the competitive differentiation and superior value of products compared to alternative solutions.
- Monitor client, market, and competitor activity, providing regular feedback and strategic reports to company leadership.
- Collaborate closely with the production and technical teams to finalize product specifications based on customer requirements and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a robust and active sales pipeline and enquiry database to ensure optimal production planning and machine utilization.
- Represent the company at domestic and international industry meetings, trade fairs, and exhibitions to promote our rigid packaging solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or industry-specific training in plastics technology, packaging, or sales is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in global B2B sales, specifically selling rigid packaging solutions to the lubricant / chemical / personal care / detergents industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the sales process, including estimation, quotation, pricing, and contract negotiation within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in B2B sales, key account management, and business development, with a strong track record of securing and managing large client contracts.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset, strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
