Sales Manager - Corporate and Long Stay
As Sales Manager Corporate and Long Stay you will be responsible to provide professional and friendly service to all patrons. To assist The Director of Sales and Marketing in the service of Sales and Marketing.

What you will be doing:
- Maintaining existing corporate accounts and sourcing new business to achieve the hotels targeted occupancy and room revenue.
- Conduct sales calls to existing and prospective corporate and Long Stay accounts as per areas assigned by DOSM.
- Maintenance of all sales activities and account information in the Sales Database.
- In conjunction with the Sales Team preparation and action of monthly sales activities plan.
- Entertaining of qualified clients within the hotel F&B Outlets.
- Attend and assist in the co-ordination of hotel functions as requested by DOSM.
- Maintain high profile within the travel industry and foster relationships with corporate accounts and Long Term Market.
- Preparation of monthly report to Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Prepare a weekly sales report to be emailed to the DOSM by COB each Week.
- To ensure sufficient levels of hotel digital presence across various channels is held by key corporate accounts. Take regular initiatives via email communication with these accounts.
- To respond to tender requests from corporate and government clients in conjunction with DOSM. All submissions are to be approved by the DOSM prior to distribution.
- Interstate sales trips may be required however this will be dependent on the sales and marketing budget and approval by DOSM.
- Participation in selected trade shows.
- Ensure companies of which you are responsible are being tracked in accordance with their room night targets on a monthly basis and report as per the guidelines set out by the DOSM.
- Attend weekly sales meetings with the DOSM.
- Conduct site inspections and host familiarization visits when required.
- Attend monthly review meetings with DOSM to discuss results versus goals in the annual sales call plan and company sales strategy.
- To be flexible to carry out other duties and assignments as requested by the DOSM.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical organisational and networking skills
- Relevant experience in the hospitality sector
- Business degree or any relevant qualification (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to delivering high-level customer service
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure and on own initiative
- Additional language skills are an asset
