Overview
Responsible for MIS reports and coordination with the Sales Team, ensuring timely reporting, claim management, and distribution tracking to support overall sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and share accurate daily sales reports to track business performance.
- Maintain and update Modern Trade (MT) / Traditional Trade (TT) supply tracker to ensure proper coverage and timely deliveries.
- Generate weekly and monthly stock and sales reports to support sales analysis and planning.
- Manage distributor claim provisions and ensure accuracy in reconciliation.
- Track distribution efficiency, coverage, and alignment with sales objectives.
- Update and maintain manpower status reports for sales and field staff.
- Verify distributor claims (Actual vs. Pass) and ensure compliance with policies.
- Monitor off-roll staff tour plans and expenses to maintain budgetary control.
- Conduct secondary checks on distributor claims for accuracy and transparency.
- Track and verify off-roll staff attendance records.
- Track and report consumer promotions to evaluate effectiveness.
- Update and track pending purchase order status to avoid delays.
- Prepare detailed town-wise sales volume reports for performance comparison.
- Monitor distributor credit limits and flag deviations.
- Reconcile heading-wise provision vs. actuals to maintain financial accuracy.
- Coordinate primary billing with warehouses to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare ad-hoc and structured reports for Sales Managers to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Sales, Marketing, or MIS (Management Information Systems) can be an added advantage.
- Work Experience: 2–3 years as Sales Coordinator.
Required Technical / Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of MIS reporting and coordination.
- Advanced Excel / MS Office knowledge is often required, and exposure to ERP / CRM systems is preferred.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory); knowledge of local practiced language preferred.
- Ability to manage sales coordination activities and handle distributor claims & reports effectively.
