Overview Of The Role: The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and providing a positive customer experience. This role involves maintaining high standards of store appearance and presentation, greeting and assisting customers, and performing operational duties as assigned by store management. Success in this role is defined by delivering excellent customer service and contributing to a welcoming and effective retail environment, directly impacting store performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
  • Ensure a positive first impression for customers through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
Customer Interaction
  • Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and a sincere, non-business-like greeting.
  • Provide customers with current relevant information about products.
  • Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.
Sales and Service
  • Provide quality service in the fitting rooms and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
  • Attempt to add on to the sale during customer interactions.
  • Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
