Overview Of The Role

The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience within the market hall area. The role requires maintaining store standards, arranging products, and supporting all operational duties assigned by the shopkeeper.

What You Will Do
  • Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create a sparkling clean and organized environment.
  • Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand, and the company.
  • Assume and complete other duties as assigned by the shopkeeper.
  • Meet or exceed weekly sales targets and participate in market hall inventories.
  • Attend all store meetings and related functions.
  • Punctuality and adherence to designated work schedule.
  • Flexibility in working with peers and management to accomplish duties.
  • Follow IKEA policies and procedures 100%.
  • Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
  • Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile.
