Overview

Experienced Sailor – El-Fujairah, UAE. We are currently seeking an experienced Sailor 1st class for a role in El-Fujairah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on a ship and hold all relevant certifications and licenses required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vessel equipment, including engines, navigation systems, and safety equipment
• Follow navigational charts and directions to ensure safe passage of the ship
• Monitor weather patterns and adjust course as needed
• Communicate effectively with other crew members and the captain
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on deck and in the engine room
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sailor on a ship
• Valid Sailor 1st class certification or equivalent
• Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certification
• Proficiency in English language (fluency in Arabic is preferred)
• Good physical stamina to handle long hours at sea and heavy equipment
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Compensation

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
