Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Management Engineer to join our team for a major bridge construction project in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for identifying assessing and mitigating risks associated with all aspects of the project ensuring its successful and safe completion.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies for the bridge construction project
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze potential hazards throughout all project phases
  • Create and maintain risk registers tracking identified risks and their mitigation measures
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to develop risk mitigation plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented risk control measures
  • Prepare and present risk management reports to project stakeholders and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks and safety hazards
  • Develop and deliver risk management training programs for project team members
  • Continuously improve risk management processes and methodologies

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management for construction projects with a focus on bridge construction
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
  • Must haveIIRSM Membership &MIIRSM
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of risk assessment and management techniques
  • Proficiency in project management software AutoCAD or similar CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis and data interpretation
  • In-depth understanding of bridge construction methods and techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
