A leading venue management company in the UAE is looking for a seasoned professional to oversee the merchandise division. This role involves developing revenue-driving strategies while collaborating with key internal teams and external partners. Ideal candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in the event industry, a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Marketing, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Fluent English is required, Arabic is a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

THIS ROLE INVOLVES
  • Strategically overseeing the merchandise division with a primary focus on driving revenue.
  • Creating and executing revenue-driving strategies through creative marketing, product bundling, promotional pricing, and digital and in‑market activations.
  • Working closely with key internal teams (Ticketing, Marketing, and Sports Account Manager) and external partners (Dubai Basketball, Coca‑Cola, and various clients).
  • Utilizing a commercially‑focused and data‑driven mindset to inform all marketing and merchandising decisions.

This role is on a freelancer agreement, and it requires the candidate to have their own visa / sponsorship. A detailed job description can be found below.

YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree or certification in Business Management or Marketing.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Previous experience in the UAE, preferably in the event industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in events.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is preferable.
