Role Overview

The Retail Advisory Analyst supports senior advisors in providing strategic consulting services to retail clients, including retailers, landlords and investors in the retail real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive market research on retail trends, demographics and competitive landscapes
• Analyze retail performance metrics, sales data and market conditions
• Prepare market reports and feasibility studies for retail developments
• Monitor retail industry trends and emerging concepts

Financial Analysis

• Perform financial modeling for retail real estate investments
• Analyze lease structures, rental rates and occupancy costs
• Conduct ROI analysis for retail projects and expansions
• Support valuation and investment analysis

Client Support

• Assist in preparing client presentations and pitch materials
• Support site selection and portfolio optimization projects
• Help develop retail strategies and expansion plans
• Coordinate due diligence processes

Data Management

• Maintain and update retail databases and market intelligence
• Create and manage GIS mapping and demographic analysis
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance, Economics, Business or related field
• 1‑3 years of experience in retail real estate or consulting
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling
• Knowledge of GIS software and market research tools preferred
