Job Purpose

The Booking Agent is responsible for accurately and impartially handling high volumes of sales and service queries in a courteous and efficient manner. These queries will be handled through different channels such as telephone, fax, and email.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle all incoming reservation calls, emails, and online requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Accurately enter and update reservations in the PMS. Opera Knowledge is a MUST
  • Upsell room categories and promote hotel facilities to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure all reservations are confirmed with proper details (rate, payment, arrival, departure, special requests).
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams for smooth guest handling.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel products, promotions, and competitor offerings.
  • Follow company SOPs, policies, and guest data privacy standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong communication skills (English required, additional languages an advantage).
  • Proficient in MS Office and reservation systems.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to multitask under pressure.
  • Sales-minded with ability to upsell.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
