Job summary

A family-owned business in Fujairah & Dibba is seeking an experienced accountant to maintain financial records, manage financial statements, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. The ideal candidate will handle bank reconciliations, budgeting, and assist with audits. This position offers a salary aligned with industry standards in the Emirate. Preference will be given to candidates with local experience.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UAE tax regulations including VAT.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations including VAT and local accounting standards.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
• Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide timely financial insights to support business decision-making.
