Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi seeks a Registered Nurse for the Day Ward who will provide patient-centered nursing care in accordance with ethical standards. The role involves collaborating with a multi-professional team, ensuring patient safety, and mentoring junior staff. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in Nursing, valid BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least two years of nursing experience. Preference will be given to qualified candidates in accordance with the UAE Emiratization Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in your home country.
• Three years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience is desired.
• UAE experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care according to clinical standards.
• Ensure patient safety and manage risks in accordance with regulations.
• Create a positive environment for patient experiences.
• Supervise and mentor nursing employees and learners.

Skills

Basic Arabic language skills

Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

Required Education

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
valid BLS and ACLS

Required Experience

Essential: At least two years in own country
Desired: 3 years current/recent medical/surgical nursing experience
Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial
