Overview

Join our team as a Registered Nurse, where you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi, you'll work in an onsite environment providing essential clinical support, conducting assessments, managing procedures, and guiding patients with compassion and professionalism while leveraging your fluency in both English and Arabic.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct nursing care during outpatient clinic visits, including clinical assessments and completion of ordered procedures within scope of practice.
  • Perform patient triage (in-person and/or by phone) and ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Measure, monitor, and accurately document vital signs and clinical observations.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures, such as ECG administration, eye and hearing tests, and other screenings as required.
  • Perform venipuncture/blood draw procedures following infection control protocols, including proper specimen handling and coordination.
  • Ensure ongoing operational accuracy, adhere strictly to clinic SOPs, quality standards, and infection prevention and control practices.
  • Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation and record-keeping in designated clinical platforms, ensuring data integrity.
  • Support clinic readiness by preparing assigned rooms and equipment, ensuring supply availability, and reporting operational issues as needed.
  • Provide positive, respectful, and culturally sensitive care to all patients and participants.
  • Educate patients on procedures, preparation, aftercare, and follow-up steps to ensure understanding and adherence.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and in-clinic check-ins (as assigned) for patient education and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth, safe care delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in onboarding, continued training, and competency maintenance activities.
  • Support data protection, patient confidentiality, internal audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Clinic Operations Manager, laboratory staff, and other stakeholders for efficient clinic operations and patient care.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in acute care OR 4+ years in outpatient/ambulatory care settings.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Proven competency in outpatient clinic procedures, such as triage, vital signs, ECG administration, eye and hearing tests, and venipuncture.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and clear patient education.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working in multicultural healthcare environments within the UAE or Gulf region.
  • Certifications or training in additional clinical skills relevant to outpatient care.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical informatics platforms.
  • Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Training in patient safety, quality improvement, or infection prevention and control programs.
