Job summary

A leading international company in the Middle East is seeking a Regional Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations in the UAE. The role requires extensive experience (10–15 years) in financial accounting, strong knowledge of ERP systems particularly Oracle, and exceptional people management skills. The successful candidate will lead the transformation of financial processes and ensure compliance with accounting principles. This is a permanent position located in Dubai.

Job Overview

Regional Finance & Accounting Manager (M/F) – Permanent contract – Middle East & North Africa, United Arab Emirates – Dubai

Responsibilities
  • Lead the transformation of the Regional Financial Accounting function and implement processes to establish the Shared Service Center and Oracle ERP implementation.
  • Develop and maintain the financial accounting team strategy, operating model, and team structure; document clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Become a subject matter expert for MESA general and financial accounting; drive continuous improvements in Oracle system understanding and process efficiency.
  • Manage all non-project related income statement and balance sheet accounts; develop and manage the balance sheet reconciliation process.
  • Work with budget holders to set indirect spend targets and provide ongoing support for spend management through monthly variance analysis.
Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of experience with a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) or equivalent.
  • Excellent people and project management skills with strong ERP system understanding and experience (Oracle highly recommended).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and experience designing and executing financial accounting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written; strong documentation, reporting, and MS Excel skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and problem‑solving with a logical approach and exceptional attention to detail.
