Responsibilities

• Assist Crewing Team Leaders in recruiting offshore crew.
• Monitor crew certificates for applying seafarers.
• Track and ensure compliance with training requirements.
• Maintain daily recruitment records and a master list of processes.
• Review and verify crew certificates and sea service.

Responsibilities

As a Recruitment Officer in Crewing Department, you will be responsible for assisting Crewing Team Leaders and/or Officers in recruiting and resourcing full offshore crew requirements to ensure timely vessel rotation and avoid any delays.

• Follow instructions from Crewing Team Leader with offshore staff requirements.
• Monitor Crew certificates for all applying seafarers (officers & crew).
• Recruit and find suitable resources as per company selection and salary criteria.
• Track all STCW training requirements and validity ensuring courses do not expire during term of employment contract before any employment.
• Track all ZMI documents related to all Crew and ensure to comply with ZMI SHEQ policies
• Update and maintains a daily recruitment record with complete details
• Keep a detailed Master List of all recruitment process, planned and carried out complete with dates.
• Reviewing and verifying crew certificates and sea service.
• Follow the interview process and follow up with concerned department.
• Monitor and track recruitment process done through manning agencies
• Ensure to provide the correct Contracts and Job Descriptions of all new crew before joining.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in any related field
• 2 years of Crew Recruitment experience in Marine Industry
• Excellent Communication Skills especially in dealing with different nationalities
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to perform without supervision and assistance
• Experience in ERP Systems is a plus
